I painted this to celebrate the dark half of the year. I’m not sure exactly what Grandma is brewing in her cauldron. In the background are the spirits of my beloved late cat Tiggles and my cousins dog.

The glow from the fire on her face and sleeves is excellent. Love how you included your sweet animals.
This is such a kind painting! When i saw grandma and the way you painted her I could not stop thinking about Byzantine and Russian style icons. There is this calmness in the look and in the face. It catches attention.
Tiggles and the dog would've loved this tribute to them.
You did an amazing job there to really make that old women shine!
